Maintenance support for Stallion 51 Corporation is provided by Stallion 51 Maintenance Operations. This organization has been in business for over thirty years and specializes in:

Stallion 51 Maintenance Operations is owned and directed by Peter and Richard Lauderback. Peter and Richard began their aviation careers as maintenance technicians in the United States Air Force, as jet engine mechanics and crew chiefs on the C-141. After completing their military obligation, they furthered their education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, graduating with both Airframe and Powerplant licenses.
Stallion 51 Maintenance Operations has been responsible for the complete restoration and return to operation of more than ten aircraft including P-51 Mustangs and P-40 Kittyhawks. Currently, they maintain and perform annual inspections on numerous different Mustangs. They also have extensive experience on various other Warbirds such as the P-40, Bearcat, MiG-17, P-38, OV-10 Bronco, Spitfire and T-6.
Quality maintenance is a vital element in the safe operation of high-performance aircraft. Our on-site maintenance team understands the daily and periodic operational requirements that not only enhance safety, but also leads to maximum scheduling flexibility. Stallion 51 Maintenance Operations has received numerous awards for restoration projects such as EAA’s Silver Wrench, Grand Champion Warbird and Best Mustang awards. The EAA also presented them with a special award in recognition of continued excellence and uncompromising devotion in promoting safety, operational quality and longevity for vintage aircraft.
