Stallion 51 Corporation conducts high-performance military style aerobatic
routines at air
shows throughout North America.
The
Flight Demonstration uses and is dedicated to the P-51 Mustang and its
history as one of the most famous fighters of World War II. The demonstrations
allow the public to see first hand the high performance maneuvering that
allowed this remarkable aircraft to achieve such fame.
The ten-minute aerobatic routine is set to music and includes low level maneuvers
such as vertical rolls, barrel rolls, inverted passes, Cuban eights, loops, point
rolls and tuck-under break to landing.
In addition to performing the Mustang demonstration, Lee Lauderback participates
in the USAF
Heritage Flight Program. This unique air show performance includes
close formation of the Mustang with the F-15 Eagle, F-16 Viper, A-10 Warthog
or the F-22 Raptor. Normally the Mustang is paired with one of the top line USAF
fighters, but at special times the Mustang has lead with an F-15 on one wing,
an F-16 on the other and an A-10 in the slot. This unique program allows the
public to see the heritage of the "old and new" aircraft and pay tribute
to the warriors of the past and the fighter pilots of today.
This year will be the 22nd year of performing and being a favorite of audiences who never tire of its classic looks and vibrant Rolls-Royce Merlin sound!
